If you don't have a jersey, bring $35 to practice to get one.
If you haven't given Sticks $15, bring that to practice as well.

Warmed up with the A team.
Lotto.
Split into handlers and cutters (not necessarily set for this weekend).
Cutters: Fitness. Cutters emphasized footwork in the shuffle drill and in the chase drill. Note the need to change directions very quickly on both O and D; always be prepared to transition from a cautious shuffle to a full-out sprint to stop the ins.
Handlers focused on fitness. We started with a faking/marking drill, doing two sets of 1 minute in each role. We then ran a rapid-fire dump drill to 15 throws each. In both drills, form was suffering by the end on just about everyone I watched, but that's to be expected.
Merged for a scrimmage. Black came out strong early, but white came back at the end. Final score was still probably in black's favour. I asked black to focus on swinging the disc across the field to the break side, and we actually did it (I was very proud). We also threw in a little zone with some success. White was doing well advancing the disc through swings and short passes until they got a little too excited and threw it away attempting something deeper. Discipline is key against the zone. Against man defence, everyone still needs to work on spreading the field, although this improved as the scrimmage progressed.
