Ladies practice before Easterns

# of Players= 21
Late comer= Kim

Red & Gold vs. Black scrimmage
Warm up run by Taila.
Black:Started with the box cutting drill followed by break force 45's
R&G: Started with 45's followed by a hucking drill

The game...
Today we worked with our spread offense. This was the first time both sides had played with our offense in a scrimmage with defense. Both sides had some great cuts but the focus would tend to be on one cutter, instead of having two cuts that would mirror opposite each other, allowing a second cut to come in immediately. The Black team did some nice work clearing to the sides while it took a little longer for R&G. Overall the game came down to the use of our deep options. Black had some great looks that gave them a chance for a score after the first or second pass. Towards the end, R&G had the right idea; the cuts were where they were supposed to be, the throws were dead on, just came down to watching the disc into our hands to make the mandatory completion the offense needs to score.

Final score= R&G: 1 to Black: 12

Take this weekend to focus on one aspect of your game you would like to work on. Keep that in mind during our games on Saturday and Sunday.

Make sure you go to the BBS and sign up for the "Bowling Green" tournament in November as well as placing an order for your black hoodies!

No practice tomorrow or Monday so I will see you on front campus on Tuesday!
